I don't care who they are or what they claim to have, absolutely NO ONE has the power / authority to "instantly" stop foreclosure and / or "force" your lender into doing anything ...Remember, your lender has a battery of lawyers on staff, and are not intimidated .. Don't let the con artists trick you - Challenge them! Ask questions! Make them prove themselves first and I'm not talking about hearing their BBB rating and / or questionable "testimonials" ....I'm talking about DOCUMENTED PROOF of their expertise in the form of their license, Surety Bond, Errors & Omission insurance policy, and verifiable client referrals! We can / will provide this documentation upon request, anyone else should be able to also - Settle for NOTHING LESS - Think about it..would you allow a Doctor to treat you or a loved one for a serious illness without verifying their abilities / credentials? Of course not! Why entrust your home / financial future without knowing who you're dealing with? DO NOT fall for the "you don't have to make any payments after hiring us" line.. Simply NOT TRUE, and perhaps the DUMBEST suggestion / advice anyone could offer you! Think about it... If you're already behind on your payments..Why on God's Earth would you think falling further behind would be helpful and / or a good thing???? DO NOT fall for the "we put your mortgage under "dispute" nonsense either ..Most lenders are Federally chartered / insured, any "disputes" better be brought by a court of law and / or the bankruptcy courts to be taken "seriously" by your bank. Don't believe this? Call your lender - ask them directly. Also be wary of those companies having their sales agents speak as if they genuinely have the ability / authority to "pre-qualify / pre-approve you for President Obama's Making Home Affordable progam...DON'T BELIEVE IT FOR ONE SECOND! Only HUD certified counselors and your bank TRULY have that ability.. Don't believe this or being told something different? Call HUD or the Federal Trade Commission. They will verify it. Before needlessly spending (waste?) thousands of dollars..Contact Me.
